Conservation programs Asia

Conservation efforts involve companies, governments and over all people. WALF works to engage all of them in to coordinated efforts to save endangered species around the world. Each specie has different situations, threats and support. WALF works to make sure all the efforts are taken towards the main impact on the threats to each case. Our team works for each specie separately in many different locations and scenarios.

ASIAN ELEPAHANT (Elephantidae)

Asian Elephants are endangered, the main threats include their habitats being destroyed tourism mis educated and the ivory tusks’ traffic.

TIGER (Panthera tigris)

Sumatran, Malayan, Indochina, Bengal and Amur Tigers are endangered some of them count under 400 in the wild. Our job is to protect them so unlike Javanese, Balian and Caspian Tigers they are not extinct one day.

The illegal trade of Asian pangolins and the destruction of their habitat has made these remarkable scaled animals one of the most endangered mammal groups in the world.
